The Meat Board of Namibia has established that the registered users for NamLITS online have passed the 10 000 mark.

On 12 July this year, a total of 10 547 users were registered.

According to the Meat Board, analytical tools indicate that around 30 users access NamLITS online per minute.

The new and improved NamLITS online was launched on 15 July last year and enables producers to perform a whole range of functions for which they previously had to visit state veterinary offices.

“The launch of the new NamLITS online is considered a success and an improvement in assisting producers in complying with livestock identification and traceability requirements,” says the Meat Board.

The Meat Board would like to encourage all producers to register and use the new NamLITS online platform to avoid queues, offices, and red tape, especially during the current Covid-19 times.

Register as a user on www.namlits.com. A complete step-by-step manual can be obtained on the Meat Board website: at www.nammic.com.na.
