Why Ahly must respect Chiefs: Pitso Kickoff Al Ahly head coach Pitso Mosimane admits he has no idea what's coming from Kaizer Chiefs in the CAF Champions League final.
Chiefs provided the shock result from the semi-finals of the Champions League by dumping Botolo Pro league leaders Wydad AC out the competition after a 1-0 scoreline over the two legs.
They will meet Mosimane's Red Devils who are chasing their record tenth title and second in consecutive seasons with the South African coach in the hot seat.
Despite beating four-time winners Esperance 4-0 in their last four tie, Mosimane admits Amakhosi pose a different threat with the journey towards the final evidence that they cannot be underestimated.
"I mean, they defeated Simba by four goals, so we have to respect them," Mosimane told the media.
"We never scored four against Simba, so we have to respect them. But Simba scored three against them so I don't know what to say.
"I can confidently speak about Mamelodi Sundowns or Orlando Pirates but Kaizer Chiefs, I can't, I don't know what's coming."
Amakhosi and The Club of the Century will meet for the once-off final in Casablanca at the Stade Mohamed V on July 17.
