Mom stabs newborn to death A 21-year-old woman was
arrested last week Thursday after she allegedly killed her baby by stabbing the
newborn with a sharp object in the neck. A police crime report today said that
after killing the new-born, she went to the Katutura State Hospital for
treatment. Medical staff there realised she had given birth quite recently and
informed the police. The suspect is currently in hospital under police guard. It
is expected that she will appear in court on charges of murder once she is
discharged from hospital. – Nampa
