Journalists in the making The project head of My Zone, Octavia Tsibes, along with the coastal school coordinators engaged various schools in Walvis Bay and Swakopmund on the wonderful world of My Zone.
Tsibes explained how learners can play an active role by telling their stories.
"I am really glad I engaged with the various schools as it was extremely fruitful. This is a great group of aspiring learners and I can't wait to see what they do next."
Schools engaged included Namib High School, Westside High School, Swakopmund Secondary School, Coastal High School, De Duine Secondary School, Kuisebmond Secondary School, Duinesig High School, International School of Walvis Bay and Karibib Private School.
