In Usakos, three merchants offer the alternative channel of CashPlus, where customers can deposit and withdraw cash, while six merchants offer Cash@Till and Ewallet at the Till.

Swakopmund has nearly 20 merchants that can assist FNB customers with their cash withdrawals, while several merchants in Uis, Arandis, Henties Bay and Mondesa offer the same.

“We are definitely living in times of great change, not only in the way we conduct business, work, view our surroundings and prioritise matters, but also in the way we manage and adapt to our financial matters, including basic banking. Gone are the days of having to visit a branch, queuing and waiting your turn.

“Now you can withdraw cash at an ATM, or at a store in your town, withdraw your Ewallet cash or deposit money at participating stores countrywide. Not to mention transfer funds, pay and check your balances, send Ewallets, buy electricity and airtime, and so much more via the FNB banking App.

“We know that our customers have embraced these safe, fast and convenient ways of banking and we encourage them to continue doing so,” says Rodney Forbes, FNB executive officer: points of presence.
