Opposition walk out of parliament DTA leader McHenry Venaani and
some other members from the opposition staged a walkout in the National
Assembly a while ago after deputy speaker Loide Kasingo refused to allow the
debate on phosphate mining to continue in the house. This follows after fisheries
minister Bernhardt Esau had delivered a ministerial statement on the issue.
Finance Minister Calle Schlettwein has now taken to the podium to deliver his
mid-term budget review.
