Oshakati needs N$46 million for housing

Oshakati mayor Onesmus Shilunga says his council needs N$46.5 million to compensate owners of communal land availed for the development of houses at the town.
Shilunga said this during a meeting hosted by his council and attended by the Finance Minister, Calle Schlettwein at Oshakati on Wednesday.
Schlettwein was in Oshakati to establish how much land is ready for planning, servicing and allocation at the town.
