The family of the late Liika Ndeukumwa Shangilifa, who was stabbed to death at her place of business at Onelombo village in 2013, said the justice system has failed them.
Rebeus Lameka, 23, who was responsible for her death appeared yesterday in the Oshakati High Court before Judge Herman January and was sentenced to nine years’ imprisonment of which four years were suspended for five years on condition that he is not convicted of culpable homicide or assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm within that period.
