Another clean sheet for MbaevaAnother clean sheet for Mbaeva Namibia''s goalkeeper, Maximilian Mbaeva kept up his impressive displays of late when he helped his South African club, Golden Arrows to a 1-0 win over Chippa United on Saturday.

The Namibian international made a few decent saves, including a one-handed palm away in the first half, as Arrows racked up another victory to cement their place as one of the leaders in the Premier Soccer League (PSL).

Mbaeva has played every single minute in Arrows'' PSL matches this season, managing to keep opponents from scoring in three out of six matches.

His compatriot and club mate Chris Katjiukua did not play.

Elsewhere, Deon Hotto helped Bloemfontein Celtic record their first PSL win during this season.

The Namibian winger played for 73 minutes in his team''s 1-0 away win over Platinum Stars in Rustenburg.

This was the most minutes the former African Stars player has managed in Celtic''s colours since making the move from Golden Arrows at the beginning of this season; a sign that he is adapting to his new environment.

On the opposite of that game, Stars'' two Namibians Henrico Botes and Benson Shilongo did not manage to be on the pitch at the same time.

Shilongo had made his debut against Orlando Pirates last month when he was a replacement for Botes.

In Saturday''s game, Botes was substituted out in the 70th minute while Shilongo took to the field some five minutes later.

The only other Namibian in action in the PSL was Maritzburg United''s goalkeeper, Virgil Vries, who notched up another full game in a 1-1 draw with Free Stars.
