PSL stars among African Player of the Year nominees Three Mamelodi Sundowns players and a Kaizer Chiefs star will compete with the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Riyad Mahrez for the CAF African Player of the Year award.
Sundowns trio Keagan Dolly, Khama Billiat and Denis Onyango and Kaizer Chiefs'' Itumeleng Khune, who compete in South Africa''s Premier Soccer League (PSL), have all been included the prestigious list which feature some of the Africa''s best players.
Gabon and Borussia Dortmund striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang won the award in 2015 and has been nominated once again.
English Premier League player of the Year, Riyad Mahrez has also been nominated alongside club teammate, Islam Slimani.
Four-time African Player of the Year, Yaya Toure has been omitted from the list, following his struggles under Pep Guardiola this season.
