Food security in the balance

Crop predictions are out and estimates indicate that Namibia’s agricultural production has suffered extensively producing an almost 50% lower harvest compared to last season due to severe drought conditions that have been experienced in the country. Major shortfalls are expected.
However agricultural economist Andre Mouton says there is no reason for immediate concern.
