The new kid on the block, Salute Boxing Academy, plans to host its first boxing jamboree on August 26 at the J&P Complex in Onashitoke at Ondangwa.
While the academy does not have boxers of its own, they have contracted several fighters from other academies to feature on the card.
On that night 10 bouts will be taking place, with the main fight between Abraham Ndaendapo and South African Godfrey Nemukongwe.
Ndaendapo, who has a record of 15 fights, 13 wins with two losses, will be defending his IBF junior lightweight Africa title.
