A total of 25 Namibians have been arrested in other countries between January last year and April this year, for crimes ranging from driving under the influence of alcohol, assault and overstaying their visits.
Figures provided by police spokesperson Inspector Slogan Matheus through Interpol show that that 22 Namibians were arrested in the United Kingdom for various crimes between January 1, 2014 and April this year.
