The Kudus first team edged closer to securing a place in the semi-final round of the Namibian Rugby Union Premier League with a hard-earned 18-13 victory over log leaders Trustco United on Saturday in Walvis Bay.
Kudus II defeated United II 22-10.
The loss in the Premier League meant that United’s lead at the top is now just one point.
The Premier League fixture was a tightly contested affair. Both teams scored two tries.
Flyhalf Aurelio Plato made the difference for Kudus with his boot and added two penalties and a conversion (8 points).
