The Namibia Premier League (NPL) has been given an extension of two weeks to secure an additional sponsor if they still want to receive money from MTC.
After giving the NPL an ultimatum at the end of June that they must secure an additional sponsor by the end of July, MTC agreed to extend the deadline.
A press conference was scheduled for yesterday to inform the public whether the NPL had managed to secure an additional sponsor.
In a statement issued by MTC yesterday afternoon, the briefing was postponed to 22 August at the request of the NPL.
