A 35-year-old man, who narrowly escaped death after a police officer crashed into his shack on the night of July 5, has opened a criminal case against the officer to claim compensation.
Zebedeus Kharuxab told Namibian Sun that the value of the items damaged is N$10 000 and items lost include a television set, bed mattresses, computer table, DVD player, radio, washing machine, a kettle and the corrugated sheets to repair his shack.
