The China Harbour Engineering Company (CHEC) has warned the public not to fall prey to unscrupulous CHEC workers and some members of the public who are demanding money in return for jobs at the engineering company at Walvis Bay.
Yandisa Mlomo, who claims to be a victim of the scam, says a syndicate operating at the company in Walvis Bay demands money from desperate jobseekers, promising them employment in return.
When Namibian Sun contacted Usi //Hoebeb of Jezreel Communications, the public relations company for CHEC, he advised Mlomo to open a criminal case.
