Namibia's slavery shame

Although the estimated number of modern-day slaves in Namibia has been reduced slightly, the country still ranks high on the global slavery index.
It is estimated that about 16 600 people are living in conditions of modern slavery in Namibia, while government has had an inadequate response to addressing the problem.
