Namibia Students Financial Assistance Fund (NSFAF) boss Hilya Nghiwete yesterday repeatedly blamed the recordkeeping of the Ministry of Education for unaccounted funds at the institution. Nghiwete appeared before the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Public Accounts, where she was grilled by lawmakers about the operations of the student funding body following findings from the Auditor-General’s report, which highlighted that millions were unaccounted for during the period when the fund was still a department in the Ministry of Education.
