It was a deadly weekend on Namibian roads with 12 dead in 28 crashes. Of these, the most deadly were in the north and on the Windhoek-Okahandja route. A head-on collision near Outapi killed six on Saturday. Five people including a driver died at the scene, while another one died at Outapi district hospital on Saturday night after two pick-ups collided head-on near Outapi.
