Govt to subsidise homes for the poor

The Minister of Urban and Rural Development, Sophia Shaningwa, yesterday told parliament that the government would subsidise the 716 available houses built under the Mass Housing Project to enable low-income earners to afford them.
She said the ministry was in the process of selling the 716 houses in several towns.
