No water for livestock at Etayi

Residents of Oshivanda shaNgatanga and surrounding villages in the Etayi Constituency of the Omusati Region are calling on the government to provide them with water tanks to save their livestock before they die of thirst.
The Okatale kaNembudu pond, which provides water to over a thousand animals from nine villages every day, is muddy and about to dry up.
Residents are worried about the water supply and say it should be regarded as an emergency.
