N$24bn needed to solve water crisis

A national drought emergency, linked to the hard-hitting water crisis in central Namibia and other areas, could be declared in a matter of days.
This follows a high-level meeting between President Hage Geingob, Cabinet and a team of experts from several water authorities this week.
“As you know we are going through a difficult time. Water is life. If there is no water, there is a problem. There is no life,” Geingob said.
