Man sentenced to long prison term for rape and robbery

Pinias Kashawa, who went on a crime spree in Windhoek’s Okuryangava area in April 2010, was yesterday sentenced to 62 years and four months in prison.
Kashawa broke into two houses, stole a 7.65mm pistol and used the gun to rob and rape other victims before he was shot in the leg and apprehended by the police.
