The Namibian Student Financial Assistance Fund (NSFAF) is ready to locate at least 16 669 students, who received loans, grants and scholarships between 1997 and 2010, but who failed to pack back the money.
These loans, grants and scholarships are valued at over N$479 million.
Most of these recipients are likely to have completed their studies by now, and those employed are expected to pay back their loans, whether they graduated or not.
NSFAF has appointed a technical partner - the Tribesmen/NICS joint venture - to trace these students.
