Five men got the shock of their lives on Sunday afternoon, when a bar owner tracked them down and demanded back his money at gunpoint, after the group had swindled his bartender out of beer and money.
According to Oshikoto Police Deputy Commissioner Naomi Katjiua, the group of men were moving from bar to bar in the direction of Omuthiya, after coming from Oshivelo, and were drinking free beers and stealing money from bartenders.
Katjiua said the group would enter a shebeen and demand one beer.
They would then inform the bartender that they only have a N$200 note.
