An Air Namibia employee, who was arrested recently on drug dealing charges in South Africa, has been released on R1 000 bail.
According to Wimpie van Vuuren, acting spokesperson of the national airline, Sidney Bilankulu appeared in the Kempton Park Magistrate’s Court this past Friday, and was released on bail, together with his co-accused.
Van Vuuren said Bilankulu, who was initially thought to have been an Air Namibia cabin crew member, is actually employed as one of the company’s ground personnel at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg.
