President Hage Geingob says that the value of trade and industry development is not in the construction of huge shopping complexes and other infrastructure, but rather in the creation of jobs and other opportunities for those who are being kept on the economic fringes of society.
Speaking at the official opening of the Ondangwa Trade and Industrial Exhibition (OTIE) on Tuesday, Geingob said: “The value of trade and industry development is not in the aesthetic appeal of shopping malls and plazas, huge trading complexes and large factories, but it is what these activities bring.
