The final report on the Mozambican plane crash in Namibia’s Bwabwata National Park has confirmed that the captain had manually crashed the aircraft when he was left alone in the cockpit.
The crash on 29 November 2013 killed all 33 people on board.
The report, released yesterday by the Directorate of Aircraft Accident Investigations in Namibia, stressed that non-compliance with Mozambique Airlines (LAM) flight regulations and company procedures resulted in a single crewmember occupying the flight deck.
