Bank of Namibia (BoN) Governor, Ipumbu Shiimi, says the commencement of the currency conversion agreement, which will allow for the reciprocal conversion of the national currencies of Namibia and Angola, is a significant milestone in reaching a desired future.
Speaking at an event in Oshikango yesterday to mark the commencement of the agreement signed last year between BoN and Banco National de Angola, Iipumbu said the two central banks were able to do the seemingly impossible through motivation and determination.
