The Council of Churches of Namibia has asked the Minister of Home Affairs and Immigration to discuss Namibia’s stance on refugees remaining at the Dukwe refugee camp in Botswana.
The CCN became involved after a request from Botswana’s Council of Churches (BCC).
The vice-president of CCN, Reverend Clem Marais, said the council was arranging an appointment with the Minister of Home Affairs and Immigration.
