Land development projects have been allocated N$171 million, representing more than half of Walvis Bay’s N$336 million capital budget.
The council plans to deliver approximately 1 500 erven in all suburbs in Walvis Bay in the next financial year. Provision has also been made for the development of 74 industrial erven.
Councillor Tony Raw presented the capital and operational budgets for 2015/16 and provided a synopsis on behalf of Management Committee chairman Immanuel Wilfred to Mayor Uilika Nambahu, who tabled it for approval.
