Otjiwarongo-based Namibia Premier League (NPL) outfit Mighty Gunners Football Club beat Unam 1-0 in Windhoek on Saturday to prevent the ‘clever boys’ from winning their first game since the start of Round two of the NPL.
Round two of the 2015/16 NPL season kicked off on January 23.
Unam lost its last two games against Rundu-based outfit Rundu Chiefs and Young Chiefs from Oshakati.
On Saturday at the University of Namibia (Unam) sports field, a single goal by Wernel Waputuaka was all Mighty Gunners needed to collect the three points in their first game of the weekend. Read more about Gunners sink Unam in Round 18 of NPL
