The investigation into the plane crash that killed three veteran pilots on Friday will be delayed because the Cessna V5-MJW had no recording device, commonly known as a black box.
This was confirmed by the acting director of the Directorate of Aircraft Accident Investigations, Magnus Abraham, yesterday.
“It is an old aircraft which has usually been used commercially or for private use. By law it is not required to have a recording device, which makes our investigation sort of difficult,” he said.
