More food price hikes to come

Another price shock will hit Namibian consumers at the end of this month when Namib Mills is set to announce another price increase on staple foods.
The price increase that will be made on February 23 follows barely a month after Namib Mills increased its prices on January 25.
Namib Mills CEO Ian Collard is set to make the announcement on price increases of maize meal, wheat flour, mahangu meal, rice and sugar on February 9.
