The 2017 World Archery Games will see Namibians compete at the event, following their qualification after the just-ended Africa Archery Championship in Windhoek.
The Archery Association of Namibia’s Frank Bockmühl told Sport Wrap that the country still had to work on the Recurve division where archers were able to qualify for the Olympic Games.
“The archer we had in that division is a junior and was maybe too young to compete against the older ones but it is just a matter of development that we will soon speak the same language,” he said.
