NBC no-show raises eyebrows

The Namibian Broadcasting Corporation abruptly cancelled the weekly ‘Talk of the Nation’ television show just one hour before the live broadcast on Monday.
The NBC had advertised that the state of higher education would be discussed by a panel consisting of former Prime Minister and first Education Minister Nahas Angula, NUST vice-chancellor Tjama Tjivikua, Nanso’s Emma Theofilus and Sylvia Demas of the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE).
The NBC instead played a recorded show from the previous week during that time slot on Monday.
